sounds like you are over doing the instruction to firm shoulder blades into your back – just try to keep your shoulder broad and relaxed

I have chronic back pain, due to degenerative discs, and this routine has helped relieve a lot of tension in my lower back.
My major injured area is L5-S1. It helps relieve the stiffness and aches that run down the hip joint and leg.

Esther, I really like this sequence, but when I’m finished the middle of my back between my shoulder blades is stiff (like it needs to “pop”). Am I doing something wrong, or is there something I can add to fix this?

    Hi Esther,

Your practical approach to Yoga is great! I particularly love this one as my back gets really tired from sitting at the computer…

    Keep up the good work!

Hi Esther! Thanks for thinking of my back! I did the sequence this morning and allthough some of the exercise is still too strong, I feel the rest working for me.
