    Would it be okay to have the client move closer to you (closer to edge of table) when they are in the fetal position and used your elbow to apply stationary circular friction, instead of using your thumbs?

    This is fantastic. Thank you Susan! I just completed massage therapy school and landed a job at a chiropractic clinic. You are the author of the book we used all throughout my schooling (thank you!) so, as you can imagine it’s very exciting to see you at work!
    I have a question…is this safe for side lying pregnancy massage? should it be modified? I know a common complaint of expectant mothers is lower back pain…
