Great information. I wish people would try these non-invasive methods that truly work before opt-ing for surgery.

What I'm not clear on is whether inversion truly permits decompression of the spine. Some experts dismiss inversion as a means to achieve decompression altogether. The most common argument specifies back muscles will resist gravity as a protective measure. This defensive muscular spasm disallows the spine to stretch significantly as a means to promote decompression. Id like to learn more. Thanks.

Can this help with sharp pain. because when i bend backwards even just a little bit then go foward, i suddenly feel a really sharp and painful feeling to my lower back area. I know this has to do with me starting contortion at a late age, so would the inversion therapy help??

I kept feeling like if I were to hang from a bar and have someone yank on my feet, my back would just go back into place. Problem is my hands only have so much endurance.
Why didn't I think of just hanging upside down!? I'm gonna try it ASAP.
If I were to go to the park to the monkey bars, will hanging by the backs of my knees engage too many muscles?
Or should I just find a way to tie my feet to a pull up bar?
... I'll try both and if I'm not paralyzed I'll come back and let you know. :)
